Enterprise Hub

The Enterprise Hub is a central site that monitors BRMS backups for other BRMS systems called Enterprise Nodes. The Nodes being monitored by the Hub are called an Enterprise Network.

The Enterprise Network may include BRMS stand-alone and BRMS Networked systems. Communication is configured through each of the Nodes in the Enterprise Network and is completely independent of traditional BRMS Network configuration.

IBM plans to withdraw the heritage Navigator for i. IBM and Fortra continue to work on the strategy for the BRMS product and its interfaces. As an alternative to accessing BRMS in the heritage Navigator for i, customers can use the BRMS SQL services.

Starting with PTFs SI80271 (7.3), SI80272 (7.4) and SI80273 (7.5) the Enterprise Hub must be at IBM i release 7.3 or higher.

NOTE: The Enterprise Hub must be at IBM i release 7.1 or higher when using the heritage Navigator for i interface.
