BRMS SQL Services

BRMS SQL Services

BRMS is introducing SQL Service interfaces as a new way to view, order, and subset BRMS information.

To enable BRMS SQL services, the supporting IBM i BRMS PTFs needs to be applied first, followed by running this command to install the new services: INZBRM OPTION(*SQLSRVINZ)

Existing user profiles used to perform BRMS operations may require additional authority to allow proper access.  Additional authority may be granted using the SETUSRBRM command with the new USAGE(*AUT) parameter option.

NOTE: *SECADM authority is required to use the SETUSRBRM command.

This table contains a summary of services that are available, and which PTF(s) are required for a given service.

5770-BR2 Services

The 5770-BR2 product contains services from the 5770-BR1 product with additional extensions. Queries written for 5770-BR1 will in most instances continue to work with 5770-BR2.
