Configuring the BRMS Web Interface
The BRMS Web Interface provides at-a-glance health information and allowing easy monitoring of BRMS backup and media information from a web browser.
Software Requirements
IBM has released the BRMS Web Interface as part of the new 5770-BR2 product. Users of the 5770-BR2 Web Interface can use the SQL button to see the equivalent SQL queries for each of the tables. While there are no plans to make the BRMS Web Interface available in the 5770-BR1 product, the BRMS team has provided the ability to use BRMS SQL services in 5770-BR1 that deliver immediate value to BRMS customers worldwide. For those who do not have the 5770-BR2 product, SQL services enable our users to realize immediate value including tying the services into any existing monitoring solution that can utilize SQL allowing users to create dashboards for their BRMS environment. Pulling these services into the core product, ensures that the BRMS can readily integrate with any present and future interfaces. For additional information on BRMS SQL services see BRMS SQL Services.
The 5770-BR2 BRMS Web Interface requires the following program temporary fixes (PTFs):
