This command was designed to maintain the user profile and password for BRMS to use when a the BRMS network has been set up to use secure DDM connections. This removes the requirement of having to add server authentication entries for all the systems in a BRMS secure DDM network. The server authentication entries for QDDMSERVER are still required. The INZBRM OPTION(*SECUREDDM) command requires *SECADM special authority.

Starting with PTFs SI80271 (7.3), SI80272 (7.4) and SI80273 (7.5) the INZBRM OPTION(*SECUREDDM) option has been disabled. Use the Add Server Authentication Entry (ADDSVRAUTE) command with the special value QDDMDRDASERVER for DDM and DRDA connections.
