QLNKOMT is a BRMS provides a user-modifiable lists for adding omits which are applied dynamically to special value entries in a control group. The user-modifiable list can be viewed and changed using the WRKLBRM command. These lists which are automatically used by the internal BRMS processing and do not need to be added to the control group. QLNKOMT is the user modifiable BRMS backup link list that can be used to omit IFS directories and files from a *LINK save. To add omit directories or files from the *LINK save, simply add them to the QLNKOMT link list. An example of objects that users may typically omit from a *LINK save are the directories that are used for virtual tapes.
