Managing Tracked Jobs
After an unplanned failure, it is easy to use the tracked job information to identify and resubmit jobs that may not have completed prior to the unplanned failure.
Locating and Resubmitting Tracked Jobs
Type
WRKASPJOBQ
from a command line and press enter.
The screen populates with a list of IASP devices and nodes in the cluster that are potential hosts for the IASP device similar to figure 1 below:Figure 1 - WRKASPJOBQ Main DisplayType

next to the node that currently has a varied on copy of the IASP and press enter to work with tracked job queues for the specified node. The display will look similar to figure 2 below:

next to a job queue and press enter to work with tracked jobs.The display contains the list of tracked jobs organized by the system the jobs were tracked on. Jobs are tracked using the system name instead of the cluster node name. Locate any jobs listed for the system that failed.
Use option

to display more details for a job. If it is desirable to resubmit a job, use option1
to resubmit the job, repeating until all jobs have been reviewed.After reviewing all jobs, in many instances it is recommended to continue on to Clearing Tracked Jobs below.
Clearing Tracked Jobs
After all desired tracked jobs have been either handled or resubmitted as required, it is recommended that the tracked job queue is cleared. Clearing the tracked job queue ensures that these old jobs do not cause confusion during a future unplanned failure event.

next to a job queue and press enter to clear the tracked jobs for the job queue. Message HAC003E - Tracked job information for job queue &1 in library &2 in device &3 is cleared. will be displayed at the bottom of the screen to indicate the operation was successful.
