Centralized Media Report
This report is run via BRMS maintenance (STRMNTBRM
) and creates a report (QP1ASYN) .Media attributes for the systems specified will be compared to the local system's media attributes to  Â
verify they are the same. If differences are found, they will be noted in the 'Shared Media Audit Report'. An audit report will be created for each of the specified systems using printer file QP1ASYN.                    Â
When running an audit of the networked media, BRMS does not do any updates. The report created will only list volumes that are not in sync with other systems.
The following is an explanation of what the values at the end of the spooled file mean:

- Shared media attribute auditing is skipped if the local system is in restricted state or the remote systems required to complete the audit are not available/offline

 option 12, Option 51 is the recommended way to print these reports and the QP1ASYN spooled file is sent to output queue QPRINT. - When running
STRMNTBRM
withAUDSYSMED(*NETGRP)
orAUDSYSMED(sys_name)
and of these parameters are set to *YES, the reports created will not be correct- Expire media -
