BRMS uses the TSM API on IBM i to access TSM Servers. After April 30, 2015, BRMS support for problems involving TSM saves or restores will be limited, unless the TSM support extension has been purchased. Be aware that IBM service and support for restores from BRMS saves that were written to a TSM Server prior to April 30, 2015 will also fall under these terms. It is the end user's responsibility to restore BRMS save data from TSM Servers before the TSM API reaches EOS so the data can be re-saved to a supported form of media. This may cause discrepancies in BRMS backup tracking information.
NOTE:
No BRMS save support for TSM in 7.2 and later releases.
No further versions of TSM will have API support for IBM i.
