Staring in IBM i BRMS 7.3, it is possible to specify one or more name pattern to be used to subset objects to be saved in from the IFS. This option is only available when using the SAVBRM command using the PATTERN parameter.
NoteNOTE: The SAVBRM command cannot be used in a *EXIT in a control group.
While help text and Infocenter in BRMS link lists states that *PATINCLUDE or *PATOMIT can be used, this is not possible in 7.3. If trying to use these options, the save of the link list will fail with CPFA093, CPI3728 and/or CPFA093
